• A new Canadian study reveals interesting aspects of online bullying that are not at all obvious. Here are some highlights:

    • Cyberbullying is likely to be under-reported by students because they incorrectly believe the activity to be less harmful than physical bullying

    • The flexibility of online media,[…] can lead students to play the roles of bullies, victims, and witnesses interchangeably.

    • Only 5 percent [of surveyed students] said they felt such activity was anything more than a harmless joke.
